STORYBOARD 

storyboards are a series of diagrams that are used to depict the composition of a segment. the storyboard is then placed in order to provide the foundation for capturing the proper footage and for making the correct decisions.

Each week we have been given a task to complete concerning the process of making toast. the first task was to create a flow chart. 

Flowcharts are used to illustrate visually a method or procedure of doing a step by step process to achieve an end result.

INFORMATION/INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

"Information/instructional design is the practice of creating instructional tools and content to help facilitate learning most effectively. The process consists broadly of determining the current state and needs of the learner. The outcome of this instruction may be directly observed and scientifically measured or completely hidden an assumed.

EXAMPLE

The london underground tube system is another example of Information/Instructional design. Guiding its occupants through the complex tube system connecting users to the correct lines. this is an example of navigational information graphic.

"Interactive Design IxD is the art of facilitating or instigating interactions between humans or there agents, mediated by products. Interactive design is concerned with the behavior of products, with how products work. 

EXAMPLE

a good example of interactive design is the social networking site facebook. Facebook is in a constant state of change where its users share photographs, send gifts, become friends, chat, and update there status. the aim of facebook is to connect every user in the world to each other through the various interactive services it provides.

WEB 2.0

DEFINITION

the term Web 2.0 refers to a perceived second generation of web development and design, that aims to facilitate communication, secure information sharing and collaboration on the world wide web.
